The Denver Hospice organizes a variety of support groups and events for our community of supporters.
Coming in from the Cold
Join us for an informal support gathering at The Denver Hospice Grief Center. We will provide comforting tea, cocoa, snacks, music, and healing activities, along with information on self-care and coping. Enjoy some time to mingle with others who are grieving this holiday season. Come as you are; no jolliness required.
Going Through Grief Support Group
A six-week educational and participatory support group for adults grieving any significant death loss. Group members should allow at least three months from their loss before starting this group. This group is held 2-3 times a year and provides structured support for adults ready to explore their loss more deeply and understand the universality of the grief experience.
Newly Bereaved Support Group
A four-week educational and participatory support group for adults who have experienced a death loss within the last three months. This group is held monthly and provides a safe place for grieving people to discover that they are not alone in their grief and to share support and ideas for coping.
