Annual report shares stories of healing, remembrance, and support for thousands of patients and families across Colorado

The Denver Hospice is proud to share its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of compassionate care, community connection, and support for individuals and families facing advanced illness.

The report reflects the organization’s continued commitment to providing expert hospice, palliative, and pediatric care while ensuring dignity, comfort, and peace for every patient served. Throughout the year, The Denver Hospice continued to expand its impact through direct patient care, grief support programs, remembrance events, pediatric services, and community outreach.

In 2025, The Denver Hospice provided care and support to 3,680 people across the community, including hospice, palliative, and pediatric patients. The organization also provided more than $419,000 in charity care, reaffirming its commitment that no one should be denied care because of financial hardship.

The annual report also highlights meaningful moments from throughout the year, including Candlelight Remembrance Ceremonies, creative grief support programs, and the annual Fall Festival for children and families connected to Footprints Pediatric Services. Stories featured in the report reflect the compassion and connection that define hospice care and honor the lives of patients and families served by the organization.

The report includes a message from Board Chair Rodney Rice recognizing the generosity of donors, volunteers, staff members, and community supporters who make the organization’s mission possible.
