The Denver Hospice adds Dr. Kimberly Statler Bennett as Physician

DENVER, December 18, 2019 – The Denver Hospice announced it has hired Kimberly Statler Bennett, MD, MPH in the role of Physician.

Dr. Bennett is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, recently completing her Fellowship at the University of Colorado in 2019.  She joins The Denver Hospice with more than 20 years’ experience as a physician including the completion of her MD at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, a Residency in Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine and a Fellowship in Pediatric Critical at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

“My passion is collaborating with community colleagues to optimize quality of life and provide seamless support for patients and families who face life-limiting illness or unrelenting, terminal disease,” states Dr. Bennett.

In her role with The Denver Hospice, Dr. Bennett will provide direction for the Footprints program which includes comprehensive hospice, palliative and bereavement care services for pediatric and young adult patients and clients.

Dr. Bennett will lead a team of specially trained clinical staff, including RNs and Counselors, who are experts in care for children and youth with advanced and terminal illness.
